Vancouver’s Friend’s In Travel presents: Longest Day Walk and Run 2025, supporting Canucks Autism Network (CAN).
The event will take place on the “longest day”, June 21, 2026 with an expected 9:30am start. We will be walking 4km and running 8km at the Iona Beach Regional Park located near the airport at 900 Ferguson Road, Richmond, BC.
This is an opportunity for members of the travel industry (airline, hotel, agency, car rental, insurance, airport, movie stars) to get together casually, maybe have a bit of exercise, and give back to our community. Supporting various local charities.
What could be more travel-related than this amazing and little-known regional park out at YVR with a spit that juts out 4km into the ocean with planes landing overhead?
The event is a combination 8km run or 4km walk. (The walkers turn around at the half-way point.), the walkers and runners all get back to the finish line around the same time.
The event is intended for members of the travel industry and their friends/family.
This is a really fun event, we encourage you to invite all your staff and their family/friends to come out and support!
